Review: TechCom 8110 Front Loading Desktop Cabinet
This is a review of the TechCom 8110 front loading desktop cabinet.

I bought this product from Ebay for Rs. 1899. Item code: 160132581192.
I needed a desktop cabinet that would save some space on my small table.
I have the following drives:
1) Samsung CDRW
2) Sony DVD drive
3) Samsung Hard drive
4) Western Digital Hard drive
When I opened the contents of the package, the first thing that struck me was that there was NO instruction manual. When you have to squeeze hardware into a small space, you need some kind of instructions to see what goes where. But this was conspicuously missing.
Then as I was checking the wires, the HDD LED wire just came off. I noticed that the LEDs were just "stuck" with some white sort of wax like substance, probably some molten plastic. The quality of this cabinet really sucks. Same was the case with the drive bays. The switches were of some bad plastic and were "stuck" to the main case with some whitish plastic substance. Needless to say, those also came off.
I fit my motherboard with CPU, RAM, LAN card and AGP card. After that I fit my 2 CD/DVD drives and my 2 hard drives onto the removable assembly. Then I tried to connect the power and data cables to these drives. This is where I really got frustrated.
The way the assembly is designed, it is impossible to connect all four of these devices to the motherboard
a) due to the limited length of the power connectors
b) due to the limited length of the ribbon data cables
So currently, I am running my comp with the DVD drive disconnected since neither the ribbon cable nor the power cable can reach to it.
This reflects poor design on the part of TechCom. Please do not buy TechCom products if you are looking for good quality. Their products really suck as you can plainly see from the excellent description on their product page.

Serial kisser now has a conscience???
This is with reference to that article by TOI here.
Awwwww..how sad. The ever-so-ethical and morally sound Emraan Hashmi is sick of kissing beautiful women??? I bet Ashok Row Kavi would be interested in this article :D
Bloody hypocrite. He doesn't show any 'sickness' when smooching them on screen. But then I guess he's such a terrific 'actor' and the 'scene' requires the kiss and its so 'aesthetically' shot that he doesn't have a problem doing it.
Way to go.

Dread Chapell???
This is with regard to the article on Mumbai Mirror titled 'Dread Chapell' here.
If Chapell is such a bad guy then WHY THE F**K DID THE BCCI SELECT HIM AS COACH in the first place???? Why did they give him Rs. 1 Crore salary???? WERE THEY BLIND to start with??? or wot??
And now that this guy has lashed out against the players and the senior management with the absolute TRUTH about the corruption and high-handedness of the players and the lack of motivation and abundance of attitude, he is being victimised and being shown in poor light.
What he has said is unarguably true and people ought to accept that as a fact. The entire Indian team sucks. They sucked before Chapell was coach and they'll continue to suck long after he's gone.
The only way to revive indian cricket is to sack the entire team for good and choose a lot of new fresh cricketers who look so disgusting that no companies will approach them to endorse their products.

Surya Namaskar voluntary
This is regarding the article in the Times Of India about 'Surya Namaskar being made voluntary in schools' here.
Why do these people have to drag religion into everything? Why can't they just take Surya Namaskar as a terrific exercise that strengthens mind and body? 'Mantras' that they are talking about are a form of meditation. And every religion has prayers to allow its followers to meditate since thats what brings you closer to the inner spirit and the universal being (God).
These stupid people are sowing seeds of religious disparity in the minds of innocent school-children. What kind of 'secular' India are we creating? At this rate, we will never be rid of religion-based politics and riots and communal violence.
What surprises me the most is that the Court (law) is bending over backwards to please these so-called religious heads and heeding their senseless and dangerous demands. I feel such people who pose a threat to secularism and breed religious intolerance should be punished most severely.

Mallika 'caught in the act'
This is regarding the article about Mallika Sherawat on Times Of India here.
So whats the big fuss about?? Strippers and nude girls dance during the Kumbh mela and at lots of other so-called 'religious' gatherings. No case is filed over that, nobody bothers about those girls. Its only when the girl is successful and is making a lot of money that these assholes start itching.
Ban the kumbh mela also since there are lots of sadhus who move around naked and those photos are also published in papers, etc. The law must be equal for everyone.

Sanjay Dutt Pleads For Leniency
This is in response to this article from Times Of India.
What crap is Sanjay Dutt talking about?? I mean, the guy must be having crores of rupees in his accounts and he's saying that he's the sole breadwinner for his family??? If his 'halaat' is like this then there is surely no hope in hell for the rest of us poor middle class wretches.
The court should think how many 'sole breadwinners' of how many families have perished in the blasts due to the callousness of wimps like him. The court should not be lenient at all and subject him to the full penalty of the law. I am sure if this same charge had been levelled on some poor muslim (alleged minority), the case would have dragged on and the guy would have got some 15 years in jail.
But just because of his father's and sister's political connections and probably his own underworld connections, he manages to get off with some measly sentence. And to top it all an even more measly excuse 'I am the sole bread-winner for my family'!!!
